Preface and Acknowledgements
Many people and printed sources have had input into this compilation, including sections prepared by named contributors. Major sources include past issues of the now-defunct local paper, Mountain News, whose relevant articles have been edited and/or updated. These sources are where possible acknowledged throughout the text of this guide. Some old articles from Mountain News were available in electronic format, but most have been retyped, and the assistance of those involved is gratefully acknowledged.
The compilation of this guide was initiated by the Mount Glorious Community Association Incorporated, in collaboration with the Mount Nebo Residents Association and MEPA, but has been updated and maintained by MEPA since 2005.
Despite careful reading of drafts by residents, the information on this website may have errors and omissions. Corrections, comments, and additional information or articles would be appreciated. These may be emailed to mepa.enquiries@gmail.com.
